Windows 7 doesn’t like to accept this. The TV doesn’t like to show up.I think I need a new GFX card.

@fatenshehadeh Well, tried fiddling with it. Didn’t work. I’d hate to have to get a new cord. Also, whenever I change the resolution on the analog TV, it flickers with the desktop. So close, I can taste it, but it turns to black again. This is why it leads me to believe its a resolution problem. Signal is transmitting.

From my experience, I have found that the problem is coming from the cord. Try fiddling with the cord, push it in a little or or pull it out a little and try it out. Or you may need a whole new cord. But I would rec a svideo to svideo cord. It always seems to do the trick with me. hth

I have an analog TV and bought a cable that had a 7-pin S-video (which goes to the PC) to RCA (which goes to the TV) cable. When I switch the properties to dual screen, I can see the desktop on the TV, but it flickers then goes to black as if its not getting signal. Any help is appreciated.
My video card is Nvidia 8600GT and TV is a 27″ Panasonic analog.
